Shipping Policy
modjūl studio offers tracked shipping anywhere in Canada and the United States via Canada Post. Orders over $300 receive complimentary shipping. For orders under $300 shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are calculated at checkout. Cost will vary depending on distance, weight, and service selected.
I offer various shipping options through Canada Post:
- Letter Mail (select products only, within Canada only)
- Expedited Parcel
- Priority
- Xpresspost
The majority of production is done on a made-to-order basis so please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to be crafted. Once an item is completed, it will be shipped within two-three business days. All bags and accessories are made in the order in which they are received.
All parcels will be shipped with tracking with the exception of items sent via letter mail. Shipment information will be sent via email once the order has been completed and packaged. All shipments are fulfilled and shipped from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
For any items shipped using letter mail this is untracked and does not have a transit time attached. You will be notified once your package has shipped however we are not responsible for any lost packages.
For orders shipped outside of Canada, all applicable duties and taxes will be charged upon arrival to its destination, they are not charged at checkout. Fees are are the responsibility of the receiver and are charged by the local government/carrier not modjūl studio. I recommend contacting the local customs office for information on fees before placing your order to avoid unforeseen charges. I am not responsible for delays caused by the destination country's customs clearance process or courier transit time.

Return Policy
I work incredibly hard constructing each piece by hand. As each item is made-to-order just for you, all sales are final.
In the event of an incorrect order or product defect, please contact me right away so we can find a solution. Please note that any products returned due to defect or incorrect fulfillment must be returned unused and in perfect condition, with all tags still attached and in their original packaging.
The modjūl Promise
Given that leather varies from hide to hide, and all items are crafted by hand, no two products will be identical. I respect that leather was once a living animal, and so I try to limit waste by cutting as efficiently as possible. That means your item may have small scars, striations or other small “imperfections” (I believe this is what makes each piece unique). That said, I will cut around portions of the hide that I think may affect the structural integrity of the items produced.
As you use your modjūl products, exposure to the elements such as light, moisture, and even the oils in your skin, may change their appearance. Over time, each item will develop a deeper colour and rich patina. That is what makes leather so beautiful! Your new purchase will look its worst the moment you receive it.
